The first NWCD Open Cat II tournament was held on the 12th and 13th August 2005. The draw were bigger than expected with 27 Women singles, 42 Men’s singles, 20 Women’s doubles, 27 Men’s doubles and 34 Mixed doubles, but spite of that all events went smooth.
A Big part of the players entered were lower league players but I am sure that every body played to won their games.

G. Herselman & M. Daubern (NG) beat LD. Erasmus (GW) & A. van Wyk (Stell) 15/8 & 15/3
The NW Country District would once again thank all the players for entering the championships and that we really looking foreword seeing them next year. The NWCD Committee also thanks BSA for their support and the opportunity for us to host this Grand prix event.
